This sequel has truly captured my heart. Once again, we're transported to the charming neighborhood of Jimbocho, where the beloved Morisaki bookshop is nestled. This book deepens Takako's connection with the bookshop, bringing back many familiar faces from the first story.

As I read this beautifully simple narrative, I found myself highlighting so many relatable passages.(

The final part of the book moved me to tears. The portrayal of grief is stunning, predictable, yes, but still profoundly touching. I read the first part back in January and loved it, but I have to say, the sequel is even better. The characters have grown, and I adored them even more this time, including the supporting ones. It explores themes of family, relationships, grief, and the courage to open your heart, all wrapped up in a tender and thoughtful manner.
