Romance novels often spark debate, with many readers feeling dismissed or underestimated for their choice of genre. I used to hold the belief that romance reading wasn't "real" reading, so I understand why some may view it this way. However, the key theme of the book "The Plot Twist" challenges this notion, exploring how the romance genre and its writers are often overlooked or undervalued. There is literally a protest about it!

The plot twist makes for a delightful romcom, perfect for anyone who enjoys a mix of romance and humor. This book has it all - Publishing industry, bookish couple, bookstore dates, bookish jokes & one liners. In the story, Stevie Phillips lands her first publishing job, only to discover that her ex-boyfriend Noah is her new manager..what a nightmare! It’s a classic second-chance trope, and the narrative skillfully weaves together their past and present dynamics. Heads up for some intimate content that adds depth to the characters' relationships but the best part is it was just four to five percent of the book, so that there is a plenty space given for the actual storyline.
The book also delves into themes of family dynamics, friendships, and how circumstances can strain them all. Overall, it’s an enjoyable read. I particularly appreciated the character development and finished it in just two read.. it’s definitely a breezy read!
