The perfect example of the difference between solitude and loneliness.

Lucas is a very happy person. And by happy, I mean really happy. He enjoys minding his own business, saying no to things, working from home, avoiding people, playing video games, eating his favorite Pad Thai with peanuts, and living a peaceful life without any responsibilities.

Everything is perfect until one day, someone knocks on his door and asks about a frying pan.

Now think about it, someone who is completely happy and content, just living their own quiet life how could something as small as a frying pan mess that up? But of course, it’s not really about the frying pan. It’s about someone breaking into his calm, private world.

The story is short but really fun and thoughtful. I loved the strange and funny characters like the purple woman, the green woman, the board committee heads, and the angel believers. Such a unique and wild mix!

It also talks about how some people enjoy being alone, while others feel the need to be involved in everything. Oh this was the theme of this book, I believe.

I had a great time reading this story. It made me laugh, and it’s been a while since something did that. I really like Lucas because honestly, some days, I am Lucas. But some days, I am like every other character in this book.
