Just for the record, I didn't like this book. It's a collection of poems from three Chinese authors: Wang Wei, Li Po, Tu Fu, all translated. And I guess, that's where it went wrong. I feel, translating poems can be difficult because the poems are more likely to lose literary and aesthetic value. Sometimes the poetic structure is lost too. For this specific collection, the topics of the poems didn't interest me as well.
